Ruby .:. Welcome to Beacon

So life has been crazy as I finished up finals and moved back home for the summer, then had some party time with friends and now I'm back to drawing. Lately I've been in a major art block, which is another reason why I've not really drawn anything in awhile (and what I have drawn has been super bad), so I debated what I was going to draw for a long long time before finally picking Ruby. I'm actually surprised it took me this long to draw her since I've been obsessing over RWBY for quite awhile now. Also to do something a little different than her normal attire, I decided to do her school uniform since it's super adorable and also something I want to cosplay as well xD

So yeah, not a whole lot to say on this one. I wanted to do a more elaborate background, but the art block was not feeling it, so yup haha. Also, never draw plaid skirts. Doing the design was super tedious. But hopefully I'll start drawing more over the summer and really kick it up a notch in the art department.

Also thank you to ColetteTheChosen who helped me fix her hand OTL. I'm having lots of problems with hands.

EDIT: Oh my goodness guys! Thank you so much for all the love on this piece!! Never had I imagined that something I drew would reach 900 views (especially in such a short time after upload!) And not only that but having it reach over 200 favorites. Just wow. I am stunned and so thankful to all of you for your amazingly generous comments and all the watches I accumulated over this. I hope that I don't disappoint all of you with my future uploads, but I will say that I have plans to finish Team RWBY in their school uniforms. Fingers crossed they turn out at least similar to that of Ruby so I can splice them together in the end. But again thank you all for your support and kindness. It really means a lot.
